The hand-assembled varillado (wooden sticks tied on each side) is made in a small atelier in Valencia with more than 100 years of family tradition.

Silk fan details
Central to the Andalusian aesthetic is a reverence for nature and the color palettes it offers.
In the south of Spain, the colors are bright and unapologetically bold, flavored with touches of gold and silver. The Sakina silk fan, inspired by Spain’s Moorish legacy, evokes the luxurious colors and patterns associated with the Alhambra Palace in Granada.

To create this fan, we used natural silk and meticulously crafted each design into custom-cut sheets in Valencia.
The natural tones of the wood accentuate the colors beautifully—the warm mahogany of the handle complements the sunsets on the silk panels and add elegance to this exquisite piece.
