To create this luxurious silk scarf, we took inspiration from the Alhambra Palace in Granada, Spain.
The history of the palace dates back to the year 889 A.D., when it was founded by Emir Mohammed I and his son Abdullah. Its complex is comprised of a fortress and palace, as well as gardens and patios.
The palace’s stunning architecture is famously known for its use of bright colors, especially in its tile mosaics—which are used to decorate domes, walls, fountains, and windows.
Our silk scarf uses these same vibrant tiles as inspiration for its bold pattern.
Hand-wound and hand-stitched at both ends, this piece truly comes together to form one whole piece of art—one that you can wear all year with your favorite outfit!
It features a medium sheen and fine thickness silk that makes it comfortable to wear against your skin and versatile enough to wear with anything from formal attire to loungewear.
